Manufacturing of electrical cabinet doors for the city of Spa

The design was created by our designer, based on an existing broken part. We printed the large piece five times on our Modix, equipped with our new Guhring diamond nozzle, ideal for large parts, in this case 60cm in size. The five smaller elements were printed on our Bambu Lab H2C, ensuring a high-quality finish and excellent detail precision.

The client, satisfied with the result, will not hesitate to use our services again for their future requests.

A fast and customized solution for reproducing technical parts

In response to a specific maintenance need, the City of Spa called upon O&D 3D, based in Dolhain in the municipality of Baelen, to reproduce electrical cabinet doors from an existing damaged part.

The objective was clear: to recreate a functional part, faithful to the original, while guaranteeing short lead times and a quality suitable for field use.

A 3D design based on a broken part

The project began with a reverse engineering phase. Our designer created a 3D model of the part based on the broken component provided by the client.

This step made it possible to reconstruct a usable file, while incorporating the necessary adjustments to ensure the strength and durability of the future part.

A production adapted to technical constraints

The manufacturing process was optimized according to the dimensions and requirements of the project.

• A large main piece, approximately 60 cm in size, was printed 5 times on our Modix machine

• This machine is equipped with a Guhring diamond nozzle, ideal for long prints and large parts

• 5 smaller complementary elements were produced on our Bambu Lab H2C

• This technology guarantees excellent precision and a high-quality finish

This combination of machines allows us to respond effectively to complex projects while optimizing production times.

The delivered parts perfectly meet the technical and functional requirements of the project. The precision of the assemblies and the overall quality allowed for rapid integration on site.
