Nylon PA12 (grey)

Gray PA12 nylon is a technical polyamide used in 3D printing via selective laser sintering (SLS). This material offers an excellent balance of mechanical strength, lightness, and durability. It exhibits good resistance to impact, wear, and many chemicals, while maintaining a degree of flexibility. Its natural finish is matte and slightly granular, making it particularly suitable for creating functional prototypes, mechanical parts, and small production runs.

Nylon PA12 is a technical material combining mechanical strength, lightness, durability and precision.

Gray PA12 nylon is a thermoplastic material in the polyamide family, widely used in the Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) 3D printing process. During manufacturing, a laser selectively fuses thin layers of PA12 powder to create robust and precise three-dimensional parts. Thanks to its balanced mechanical properties, PA12 is particularly valued for the production of functional prototypes, tooling, technical housings, and components intended for real-world use.

This material is distinguished by its good tensile strength, impact resistance, and wear resistance, as well as its low moisture absorption compared to other nylons. It also offers good resistance to oils, greases, and many chemicals. Its surface has a matte, slightly textured appearance characteristic of the SLS process. Gray PA12 nylon is therefore a versatile solution for manufacturing lightweight, durable, and complex parts, while offering excellent dimensional stability and a long service life.
