PLA (Polylactic Acid) is the most widely used FDM 3D printing material in the world. Derived from renewable resources (corn starch, sugar cane), it is easy to print, available in a wide range of colors, and delivers exceptional surface quality.

 

At O&D 3D Printing, we use PLA for all projects where visual detail and shape fidelity take precedence over mechanical resistance: architectural models, visual prototypes, decorative objects, figurines, educational models.

 

Although not suitable for technical parts subjected to heat or stress, PLA remains the number 1 choice for getting started quickly, at a lower cost and with optimal print quality.
