PEKK
(Polyetherketoneketone)
PEKK (Polyetherketoneketone) is often described as the successor to PEEK. More rigid, with less shrinkage during printing and better layer adhesion, it is practically easier to print than PEEK while offering superior mechanical performance.
Made from Kepstan® by Arkema (France), PEKK is certified for aeronautical (FAA/EASA), medical, and space applications. It is gradually becoming the benchmark material for new high-performance applications.
At O&D 3D Printing, we use PEKK on our INTAMSYS Funmat HT for projects requiring the pinnacle of polymer performance.

PEKK: a high-performance polymer for technical and industrial 3D printing
PEKK is a high-performance material used in the most advanced industrial 3D printing applications. Belonging to the PAEK polymer family, PEKK filament is known for its excellent mechanical strength, thermal stability, and exceptional chemical resistance. It is particularly valued in demanding sectors such as aerospace, automotive, energy, medical, and high-tech industries.
Thanks to its advanced technical properties, PEKK for 3D printing enables the production of parts capable of withstanding high temperatures, significant mechanical stresses, and complex industrial environments. It is an excellent choice for manufacturing technical components, structural parts, and functional prototypes requiring reliability and durability.
PEKK 3D printing stands out for its high dimensional stability and natural resistance to fire and chemicals. Compared to other high-temperature engineering materials, PEKK also offers better control over thermal shrinkage, resulting in more stable and precise printed parts.
PEKK filament also possesses excellent wear resistance and a strong ability to retain its mechanical properties in extreme environments. These characteristics make it a material particularly well-suited to critical industrial applications requiring high performance over the long term.
At O&D 3D Printing , we use high-performance PEKK to manufacture advanced technical parts for industrial projects requiring thermal resistance, precision, and durability. This material is particularly well-suited to applications demanding high mechanical performance and excellent stability under demanding conditions.
Printing with PEKK requires specialized industrial equipment capable of maintaining high temperatures and a perfectly controlled printing environment. Its implementation demands advanced technical expertise to guarantee reliable results and optimal performance.
Choosing a professional PEKK filament allows you to obtain technical and industrial 3D prints capable of meeting the highest requirements in terms of strength, stability and performance in the most demanding environments.
